Investement Bank require an experienced Analyst Programmer to assist in the Development of the highly Object-Oriented Visual Basic * SQL Server system supporting the FX business. Understand the process flows involved in FX Options from trade booking to exercise. Understand the business concepts of trade life cycle management, Work closely with all areas of the business to develop efficient, cost-saving solutions. Develop and maintain interfaces to and from other Debt systems. Support the front * middle * back office system users, Optimise the performance of the system and business workflows; eradicate manual procedures. Develop with a generic approach ensuring that common controls*functionality can be used throughout the system (and possibly other applications). Essential: VB6*SQL Server; High desirable: Knowledge of FX Options; UNIX * Linux; Perl; PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: Given sufficient demonstrations of excellence and achievement, the position offers the opportunity to be able to take over the leadership of the team by the end of 2005. Exposure to FX structured notes. Rigorous workout of Object-Oriented and SQL Server stored procedure skills. Potential to run projects from start to implementation due to compact size of team.
